On October 26, 2025, the Women’s Capacity Building and Development Organization (WCBDO) continued its humanitarian and support activities by organizing a program to help 15 families who returned from Iran to Kabul.
The purpose of this program was to support families who face serious financial and living problems after coming back to Afghanistan.
These supports were made possible by kind brothers and sisters living in Canada, who generously gave 4,700 Afghanis to each family. The aid packages included basic food and household items such as flour, cooking oil, beans, sugar, washing powder, tea, and blankets and 200 AFN transportation . All items were given based on the needs of each family.
During the distribution, WCBDO’s volunteer team followed the rules of transparency and fairness. They first identified needy families through a survey and then delivered the aid directly to them. This activity not only helped the families in the short term but also spread hope, kindness, and trust in the community.
WCBDO gives special thanks to all the donors who, with their humanitarian feelings and kindness, took part in this good action. Their help showed that love and unity have no borders.
WCBDO promises to continue helping vulnerable families in the future by gathering local support and working with donors inside and outside Afghanistan. The organization will keep trying to build a caring, strong, and poverty-free community.
